Software Architects (m/f/d) for electromobility

Develop innovative software solutions for the planning and operation of electric buses and actively contribute to the electrification of public transport as part of a team of experts.

Who we are:
EBS ebus solutions GmbH is a joint venture of the two companies IVU Traffic Technologies and ebusplan. With our software solutions, transport companies simulate the use of their electric buses, plan, optimize and control the deployment of the vehicles, and plan and optimize their recharging phases.

Your responsibilities:
As a software architect at ebus solutions

• Work on technical models, optimization algorithms, UIs and interfaces as well as DevOps topics
• Define all aspects of the software architecture and ensure compliance, from design to SOP
• Be responsible for parts of the software architecture from design to SOP
• Independently realize software projects with different development tools and state-of-the-art technology (see Tech Stack)
• Design and implement new features in short cycles as part of an agile team
• Question used technologies, methods and development processes and thus contribute to the improvement of the software and the team’s way of working

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science, a comparable course of study or a relevant qualification acquired through work experience
• Ideally, professional experience as a software architect or in a similar position
• Solid experience in software development as well as programming in various languages and tools (e.g., Java, Python, Docker, REST, Elasticsearch,….)
• You work independently, reliably and enjoy contributing your expertise to the development team
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
